While Intrumental Rock has globally known stars as Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen or even Al Di Meola, Brazil has the great Pepeu Gomes which sometimes mixes brazilian rhythms and influences and is what actually makes his work so interesting and beautiful.

He is more well known in Brazil for his non-instrumental pop songs but his instrumental works are more vast and more expressive. Take for example the beauty of songs as Amazônia, composed for Chico Mendes. Or the Samba inside Odette, or even his Pot-pourri of great Brazilian songs. Or even non-Brazilian flavours as 120 watts de pura distorção.
